Mark King es un músico británico de la Isla de Wight. Es el más famoso por por ser el cantante principal y el bajo de la banda de música Level 42. A principios de los ochenta, revolucionó el estilo slap and pop tocando la guitarra bajo, convirtiéndose en uno de los bajos más infuyentes de su generación.

Banda de Rock britanica fundada en 1969. UFO se transformó en una banda transicional entre el hard rock primitivo y el heavy metal y apareció como la New Wave del Heavy Metal británico.

Músico de jazz Canadiense, se lo considera un virtuoso del bajo de 6 cuerdas, ya sea con trastes, sin trastes, o MIDI. Sus habilidades musicales se desarrollaron mediante lecciones por correspondencia con el profesor de improvisación Charlie Banacos, así como la asistencia al Berklee College of Music.
Es un ex-miembro de la banda Uzeb (con Michel Cusson en la guitarra y Paul Brochu en la batería), también fue músico de sesión con Leni Stern y con Gino Vannelli.
