 Ante la tristeza por la pérdida del Artista , su emotivo y precioso legado ....... " Concerto For Group And Orchestra " , último trabajo de Mr. Jon Lord , editado , tras su fallecimiento el 16 de Julio pasado . El teclista de Deep Purple y Whitesnake , con la inestimable ayuda de su familia y su inquebrantable trabajo ( conocedor ya de su enfermedad y de su fallecimiento inminente ) , se cobijó en su propia creatividad , para dejar al mundo otra Obra Maestra , antes de fallecer . " Concerto ... " mezcla , como nunca se había hecho antes , la música Clásica ( en la que Lord se formó a nivel académico ) y la música Rock ( aquella que tantas satisfacciones le otorgó durante décadas ) . Durante 30 años con Deep Purple , Lord tocó esta obra con más de 30 orquestas y directores diferentes por todo el mundo , lo que le permitió ir perfeccionándola y plantearse la posibilidad de registrarla en Estudio como nunca se había hecho hasta la fecha . Pocos meses antes de morir , Jon contaba , con excitación que se encontraba realmente satisfecho y expectante por haber conseguido llevar al estudio tan compleja obra . Este trabajo ha sido cuidado minuciosamente y para hacerlo realidad , Jon contó con músicos de primer nivel , como Guy Pratt ( bajista con Pink Floyd , Madonna ) , Brett Morgan ( baterista con Jon Anderson , Sting ) , Darin Vasilev ( joven y prometedor guitarrista de origen bulgaro ) , Steve Balsamo ( vocalista galés , elegido por el mismísimo Andrew Lloyd Webber para el papel de Jesus en " Jesus Christ Superstar " ) , Kasia Laska ( vocalista polaca de prodigiosa voz , curtida en mil musicales ) y , cómo no , con la Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra , con la que ya había grabado anteriormente en varias ocasiones , y dirigida por Paul Mann ; con la Producción del disco en los Abbey Road Studios de Londres , y con Bruce Dickinson ( vocalista de Iron Maiden ) , Joe Bonamassa ( guitarrista y blusero ) y Steve Morse ( guitarrista y compañero suyo durante mucho tiempo en Deep Purple ) como invitados , se cierra un elenco de extraordinaria belleza musical/interpretativa .
