Para su primer albun de estudio en 7 años,el multipremiado ganador del grammy Jeff Beck regresa con un disco eclectico que encuentra al virtuoso guitarrista acompañado por una cuidadosa y seleccionada lista de talensos musicos, asi como tambien de una orquesta de 64 piezas.
Beck grabò EMOTION & CONMMOTION el año pasado en Sarm Studios en LONDRES con los productores Steve lipson Y Trevor Horn.Acompañan a Jeff Beck mùsicos de su banda actual como el bateria Vinnie Colaiuta, la bajista Tal Wilkenfel y el teclista Jason Rebello.El àlbun incluye tambien un trìo de voces femeninas, sin igual:Imelda May (lilac wine), Olivia Safe (Elegy for Dunkirk) Y Joss Stones en (I Put A Spell On You) y ( Theres No Other Me).
Pero ademà, Beck incursionò grabando con una orquesta de 64 mùsicos canciones que van desde e l inmortal aria de Puccini Nessus Dorma y Elegy For Dunkirk (de la pelicula Atonement) hasta Sommwehere Over The Rainbow(de Mago de Oz) y CorpuS Chisti Carol de Jeff Buckey.
Beck dice que la idea de acompañar su guitarra con una orquesta comenzò a tomar forma años atràs,pero no queria comprometerse con un albùm de mùsica clàsica.lo que le atraìa era la posibilidad de juntar sonidos contradictorios.
Pero EMOTION & CONMMOTION tambìen incluye composiociones originales como el rockero Hammerhead oen el lado opuesto,la sonoridad melodica dekis arreglos de Neve Alone.
Antes de iniciar su Gira de EMOTION & CONMMOTION, Beck se unirà a Eric Clapton para una serie de Shows esclusivos en londres,New York, Toronto y Montreal.Ambos guitarrristas miembros originales de The Yardbirds tocaràn por separados para luego unirse en el escenario para tocar juntos,
Luego de los Shows con Clapton,Beck y su banda tocaran en Korea del Sur,Hong Kong, Australia,Japon,Norteamèrica incluyendo el New Orleans Jazz Festival y Europa.Esperemos que podamos verlo en España.

El 22 de Febrero, en el Saitama Super Arena de Japón, Jeff Beck y Eric Clapton dieron un concierto espectacular.
Jeff Beck y Eric Clapton son viejos amigos, y hay registros de ellos que datan de más allá de los 40 años. El primer Cd es con Jeff Beck y su banda, cuyo line-up fue: Jeff Beck, guitaras; Tal Wilkenfeld, Bajo; David Sancious, Teclados, y Vinnie Colaiuta, percusión.
El segundo Cd es de Eric Clapton y su banda, cuyo line-up formó con: Eric Clapton - guitarra & vocals; Doyle Bramhall II, guitarra & backing vocals; Chris Stainton, teclados; Willie Weeks, bajo; Abe Laboriel Jr., percusión y Michelle John, coros.
En el tercer Cd se suma Jeff a la banda de Eric Clapton.
