Temple of the Dog fue un proyecto paralelo creado por CHRIS CORNELL ( que formó parte de Mother Love Bone , Soundgarden y Audioslave ) como tributo a su amigo ANDREW WOOD ( cantante de Mother Love Bone ) , fallecido por una sobredosis de heroina en 1990 . En este disco , además de CORNELL tocando el banjo , la harmómica y cantando , nos encontramos a MATT CAMERON en la bateria ( de Soundgarden ) , MIKE McCREADY en la guitarra eléctrica ( de Pearl Jam ) , EDDIE VEDDER ayudando a las voces y haciendo coros ( de Pearl Jam ) , STONE GOSSARD en la guitarra eléctrica ( de Mother Love Bone ) , JEFF AMENT en el bajo ( de Mother Love Bone ) y RICK PARASHAR al órgano , al piano y como productor . Un disco que comenzó como un homenaje y acabó siendo como uno de los discos " imprescindibles " en cualquier discoteca que se precie ... Escaleralcielo
