Little Walter o Marion Jacobs, fue un armonicista, cantante y también guitarrista de blues.

Nacido en Marksville, Louisiana, Jacobs es mencionado usualmente como uno de los más grandes del blues y constructor del sonido de Chicago. Su forma de tocar la armónica fue tan revolucionaria que es directamente comparable a lo que hizo Jimi Hendrix con la guitarra o Charlie Parker con el saxo, logrando sonidos, fraseos y expresionismo a niveles inimaginados para la época, marcando un estándar para siempre.

Tentado por conocer la gran ciudad y expandir sus horizontes musicales, Walter abandonó su escuela rural en Lousiana a los 12 años. Posteriormente fue vagando por diversas localidades: New Orleans, Helena, donde conoció a Sonny Boy Williamson, Memphis, St. Louis hasta llegar finalmente a Chicago en 1946.

Jacobs era alcohólico y esto siempre le trajo problemas personales, de esta manera aceptó giras a Europa dos veces, en 1964 y 1967 para recuperar el dinero que perdía en apuestas o peleas. Murió de una trombosis cerebral en el año 1968 luego de una pelea callejera.

GEORDIE - - - HOPE YOU LIKE IT -1973-

Georgie A inicios de los años 70, Brian Johnson era el cantante de una banda de Newcastle (Inglaterra) cuyo nombre inicial fué U.S.A. pero que rápidamente pasó a denominarse Geordie.
Geordie era una banda en cierto sentido similar a AC/DC. Era una banda que podriamos considerar dedicada a satisfacer los gustos musicales de la clase obrera, sin ningún tipo de alardes escenográficos y de vestuario, tan de moda por aquellos años.
Durante el inicio de la decada de los 70, Geordie realizó un concierto con la banda de Bon Scott Fraternity. Bon, más tarde comentaría que el cantante de Geordie era uno de los mejores que nunca había escuchado.
Geordie grabó varios trabajos entre los que podemos destacar "Hope You Like It" (1973), "Don't Be Fooled By The Name" (1974) y "Save The World" (1976).
La banda fué relativamente popular en Europa durante este periodo, pero este fugaz éxito pronto finalizó. Geordie se disolvió, y años más tarde, Geordie, con una nueva formación, grabó el álbum "Featuring Brian Johnson" (1980), reinterpretando temas antiguos de la banda.
A finales del año 2001, Geordie se reunió de nuevo para salir de gira por pequeños clubs del Reino Unido. El grupo para esta gira ha pasado a denominarse Geordie II.
