"Timothy Charles Buckley III (14 de febrero de 1947 – 29 de junio de 1975) fue un músico estadounidense de rock de vanguardia, con influencias de jazz, psicodelia, funk y soul. Su carrera fue corta, entre finales de los 60 y los primeros 70.
La voz de Buckley llegaba a abarcar tres octavas y media. Su talento con la voz está patente en álbumes como Goodbye and Hello (1967), Lorca (1970) y Starsailor (1970). Se casó con Mari Guibert, con la que tuvo un hijo, Jeff Buckley, conocido por su voz de al menos cuatro octavas y media, que murió en 1997."

Spiritu 986…Un equipo de alumnos de la Escuela de Imagen y Sonido presentan el trabajo como proyecto de fin de curso.
La banda viguesa que ha conseguido arrancar el sonido más bailable y tecnificado de las raíces del folk gallego.
Spiritu 986 debuta con un trabajo homónimo en el que tradición y vanguardia van de la mano. Gaitas y sintetizadores, electrónica y samplers para este nuevo milenio. En este disco han intervenido once productores distintos e incluye cuatro remezclas, lo que enriquece su trabajo, junto a la pista multimedia que incluye el compacto, como mandan los tiempos
