Marcus Hook Roll Band fue una banda australiana de Rock de un sólo album , éste “ Tales of Old Grand Daddy “ , publicado en 1973 y que hoy os ofrecemos en éste , tu BLOG amigo …….
El Grupo , formado un año antes por George Young ( vocalista , guitarrista , pianista y bajista ) , Harry Vanda ( guitarrista principal y vocalista ) , lo completaban Alex Young y Howard Casey ( saxofonistas ) , Angus y Malcolm Young ( guitarristas ) , Freddie Smith y John Proud ( bateristas ) e Ian Campbell ( bajista ) . Destacar la presencia de unos jovencísimos Angus y Malcolm Young ( hermanos pequeños del mayor de la saga , George , fallecido también el pasado 22 de Octubre ) que fundaron más tarde nuestros adorados AC/DC .
Valga esta publicación como sentido y reconocido homenaje a Malcolm Young , que falleció el pasado 18 de Noviembre a la edad de 64 años , en Lulworth House en Elizabeth Bay ( Australia ) .
Al concluir el Black Ice World Tour , Malcolm fue diagnosticado con cáncer de pulmón . Se trató en una etapa temprana , por lo que la cirugía fue exitosa y se eliminó el cáncer , y aunque el motivo de la muerte aún no ha sido revelado , problemas cardíacos ( llevaba un marcapasos ) junto a la aflicción por el reciente fallecimiento de su hermano mayor , George Young hace casi un mes y sus problemas de demencia senil y pérdida de memoria , se presumen como fatales detonantes de su muerte .
El ROCK sigue quedándose huérfano ……. Long Live Rock !!!

El primer adelanto del nuevo disco es este “ Little Thing Gone Wild ” .…. Un bajo distorsionado y grueso , acompañado de una voz saturada de fuzz , una armónica rabiosa y un estribilllo caótico con un coro tribal que hacen pensar en qué pasaría si Iggy Pop y Robert Johnson se cruzasen de noche en un callejón y resolvieran algunos asuntos pendientes .
