Kongos, la banda formada por los hermanos Johnny, Jesse, Dylan y Danny Kongos, hijos del célebre cantautor Sudafricano John Kongos, estrenan su disco " Lunatic ". Los hermanos Kongos crecieron en Sudáfrica y en el Reino Unido para finalmente establecerse en Phoenix (Arizona) donde actualmente viven y graban. El hecho de pertenecer a una familia musical les ha permitido desarrollar sin dificultades sus propios talentos combinando sus influencias y experiencias en una mezcla de Rock Indie con sonidos tribales Africanos. Habiendo estudiado todos piano durante sus años de adolescencia, luego y de manera natural, cada uno de ellos se ha ido acercando a distintos instrumentos, lo que los ha llevado a formar su propia Banda. Kongos salió de gira por primera vez en Europa en enero y febrero de 2013. como grupo invitado de Dispatch por Alemania, Austria, Suiza, Dinamarca y Holanda, y también con varias fechas en Reino Unido abriendo los conciertos de Awolnation. Ahora debutan con su primer trabajo " Lunatic " publicado en Sony Music . Disco y Grupo prometen , y mucho .

Banda de Rock Inglesa de corte Pre-Progresivo que cuenta con elementos de Fusión y Jazz , e instrumentos poco convencionales en el entorno Prog de la época : flauta , arpa , saxo … son piezas progresivas basadas en guitarras pesadas, riffs de saxo y teclados con momentos acústicos y melódicos que recuerdan los inicios de Pink Floyd. Muy alejados de lo comercial , RAW COMERCIAL , dejaron una huella muy profunda en la época dorada del Prog Británico que ya asomaba por el horizonte musical de Las Islas . Su legado es cortísimo , tan sólo dos discos , el primero , “ Raw Material ” , publicado en 1970 y , el segundo “ Time Is ” , con el que desaparecieron de la escena , en 1971 … pero intenso . La Banda la forman : DAVE GREEN (guitarra) , PHIL GUNN (bajo) , COLIN CATT (cantante y teclados) , PAUL YOUNG (batería y percusión) y MIKE FLETCHER (saxo , flauta y arpa) . ESCALERALCIELO
