 Ya de paso , y abierto el melón por nuestro amigo OdC , añadir que si bien “ 24 Nights “ se publicó en Octubre de 1991 ( álbum doble grabado en directo en el Royal Albert Hall londinense recogiendo las mejores actuaciones de Clapton en los periodos de Enero-Febrero de 1990 y Febrero-Marzo de 1991 ) , sólo cubría una pequeña fracción de lo que se grabó ; el videoclip publicado anteriormente en el BLOG de Eric Clapton – Layla (Live at Royal Albert Hall, Orchestral Version) está extraído de la restauración y posterior edición del 23 de Junio de 2023 , publicada por Warner Records ; se lanzaron las versiones independientes de los conciertos individuales (Rock Show , Blues Show y Orchestral Show ) en diferentes formatos ( CD , DVD , Blu Ray y LP ) , capturando por primera vez las actuaciones definitivas de todos los sets y creando , al mismo tiempo , tres conciertos completos para cada género , editados a partir del metraje original y completamente remasterizado en Dolby ATMOS y sonido envolvente 5.1 ……. totalmente recomendable ; Yo tengo esta obra maestra , “ The Definitive 24 Nights “ ( Box Super Deluxe 6 CD + 3 Blu Ray ) , y ha sido una de mis mejores y más gratificantes inversiones en el mundo de la Música .

 En 2025 ( al que ya le va quedando poco tiempo y estamos prácticamente en su cuenta atrás ) se han cumplido 43 años desde que se imprimió el primer CD de música , y sigue siendo el formato ( físico ) de la música más vendido en todo el mundo …… un formato que se resiste a morir ….. 

 El 17 de agosto de 1982 se imprimió oficialmente el primer CD musical , “ The Visitors “ del grupo sueco ABBA , manufacturado en Alemania por Polygram Records . “ The Visitors “ fue el primer CD que se imprimió oficialmente para ponerlo a la venta , pero no fue el primero en llegar al mercado , ya que se comercializó en marzo de 1983 . 

 El primer CD que apareció a la venta en las tiendas , fue el álbum “ 52nd Street “ del neoyorkino Billy Joel , el 1 de octubre de 1982 en Japón , lo que supuso la primera grabación disponible al público en este formato . 

Este lanzamiento coincidió con la comercialización del primer reproductor de CD , el Sony CDP-101 .
